Woman arrested following fatal hit and run in Torquay

A body has been found in the search for a missing man from Newton Abbot.

The body of a man was located in Buckfastleigh on Sunday 21 August.

Kenneth Hinkley, 65, from Newton Abbot was reported missing on Friday 19 August. His family have been made aware.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner. Formal identification is due to take place.”
