A body has been found in the search for a missing Teignmouth man.
Police have found a body that they believe to be that of an 83 year old missing from Teignmouth.
The body of a man was located within a car near Bishopsteignton Road, Teignmouth yesterday evening, Monday 25th September. Derek Woodley was last seen on Wednesday 20 September.
Formal identification has yet to have taken place, but Mr Woodley’s next of kin have been informed of this development.
Police are not treating this death as suspicious and a file is to be prepared for the coroner.
