The body of a woman was located in Kingsbridge yesterday, Wednesday 24 August.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Formal identification is yet to take place but the family of Margaret Murton, who was reported missing on Tuesday 23 August, have been informed of this development.”
Margaret Murton from the Kingsbridge area was seen at around 10am on Tuesday 23 August near her home address.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
