Police have confirmed today that the body of a young man located at the base of cliffs near Torquay has been formally identified as Plaman Gandev.
The body was found on Monday, 12 April following a large scale air, sea and land search by police, police helicopter, coastguard and search and rescue teams.
Plamen, 17, went missing from his home in Babbacombe in the early hours of Saturday 10 April.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
