If you are need of a chuckle then Torquay Comedy Club have some great news for you. Today it has been announced they will be hosting a Grand Show on Saturday 4th July 2020 and the headliner will be none other than Jason Manford. Tickets will go on pre-sale on Tuesday 4th February and you can pre-register here to be able to purchase them.

When Torquay resident Ben Milden, first set up Torquay Comedy Club in 2018 he had no idea that one day he would be booking one of his idols to perform. When Ben was setting up Torquay Comedy Club he contacted Manford to ask for advice. Not only did Manford help out but he also went out of his way to publicly support the idea on social media. Little did either of them know that, Torquay Comedy Club would eventually grow to be successful enough that they could eventually book Manford to headline a ‘Grand Show’. This grand show will be held at the Riviera International Conference Centre and ticket prices start at as little as £25.

Tickets will go on Pre-Sale on Tuesday 4th February at 7pm. The pre-sale is an exclusive one hour window (7pm-8pm) where those that pre-register can get the best seats at the best possible price. You can pre-register here. Tickets will go on general sale at 8pm.

Torquay resident and Torquay Comedy Club founder Ben Milden, wanted to extend his thanks to the people of Torquay for their continued support:

“Booking Jason Manford to headline our Grand Show is a dream come true for me. It really shows how far Torquay Comedy Club has come and it wouldn’t be possible without the support from the residents of Torquay.
They have helped us sell out our shows since day 1 and based on the buzz already, we expect the Grand Show to sell out as well”

Has has the following advice for anyone looking to get tickets: “Based on Jason’s popularity and how well our other nights do, we predict that tickets could sell out very quickly. That’s why we recommend people pre-register now, it’s completely free and the only way to get access to pre-sale tickets”. Torquay Comedy Club’s ‘Grand Show’ will feature a number of superb support acts with Jason Manford headlining. The support acts will be announced over the coming months and are expected to feature at least one multi-award winning comedian.
