Brixham Road in Paignton is currently blocked by fallen trees this morning, Saturday 2nd November.
The road is blocked from Windy Corner to Sainsburys by two large fallen trees.
Police are advising to divert through Roselands estate.
A spokesperson for Paignton police said on Facebook: “I have no doubt you are aware of the adverse weather conditions that have moved in over night, please be aware we are receiving many reports of large trees blocking roads in Brixham, Paignton and Torquay, so please can I advise you only make trips if absolutely necessary.
“The force with other partner agencies will be working as quickly as possible to clear the roads so please be patient and stay safe!”
