Update: The road is now open.

Brixham Road (A3022)  is currently closed due to an accident.

Police, fire crews, ambulance crews and air ambulance have been at the scene of the collision between a person and a vehicle.
The elderly woman involved is thought to have been seriously injured and was airlifted to hospital.

The road remains closed for investigation work to take place.
The road is closed between Totnes Road/ Kings Ash Road and Yalberton Road.

The road is likely to remain closed until later this evening.
