Deputy Town Clerk Ross Green said “As our community faces unprecedented increases in the cost of living, we’re providing a space for residents to access free impartial advice and support from organisations and groups. There is no need to book; people can just drop-in”.

In 2020 Brixham Town Councillors unanimously voted to create a Coronavirus Social Emergency Fund, that was available to organisations and groups that supported the most vulnerable members of our community. The fund is no longer available, however, as the cost of living continues to impact our community we want to make sure that again we’re supporting our residents.

“If you’re worried about the rising cost of living and need advice or support, there are organisations and schemes that could benefit you” said Ross.

Free tea and coffee will be available during the drop-in, so please come along and have a chat on Saturday 23rd July.
