Emergency services were called to an overturned livestock trailer on the A38 this morning.
One fire crew from Bovey Tracey attended, along with the specialist animal team from Exmouth and the Heavy Rescue Team from Middlemoor.
The incident happened between Haldon and Harcombe Cross and caused delays around the area.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said:
“On arrival, crews confirmed this incident to involve an overturned Trailer carrying 3 Bullocks. Crews got to work using High Pressure Airbags, Cribbing Collar, Stabfast, Tirfor Winch and Small Tools to help release the Bullocks. The Bullocks are now safely in the hands of the farmer and in another Trailer,”
