Schoolchildren evacuated from bus following fire on A380

Schoolchildren had to be evacuated from a bus on the A380, Telegraph Hill, Northbound due to a fire.

Emergency services are at the scene at the Ashcombe junction. All occupants of the bus have been accounted for and are now on another bus.

One lane is closed and police have asked drivers to drive with caution.

Units attending a fire to a bus on the A380 northbound slip of the Ashcombe Junction. All occupants are believed to be off and accounted for, however we ask drivers in the area to reduce their speed and drive with caution until the area is secure.

All pupils accounted for and placed on another bus. Fire remain at the scene to control the fire. One lane expected to be closed in the meantime. Drivers please be aware!
