A car went over the edge of a wall in Teignmouth yesterday morning.
The incident happened at around 8am.
“The local Coastguard requested the assistance of the lifeboat after a BMW ‘Z’ type car drove into the sea. The car driver walked away from the car and made their way to Teignmouth assisted by HM Coastguard. The lifeboat crew were unable to ascertain if there was anybody else in the car due to the high sea and surf levels.” http://teignmouthlifeboat.org/
It was later confirmed that there was no one else in the car with the man.
