Police appeal for information after car Stolen in Ashburton

Drugs to be trashed at Torquay pubs and clubs

Police have appealed for information after a car was stolen from Ashburton last week.

Thieves broke into a property in Stonepark over night on 7th/8th March, stealing a handbag and the keys to a Fiat Doblo.

The car was later recovered after being involved in a collision on the M5 between Taunton and Bridgewater.

The offenders fled the scene of the collision, also leaving the handbag behind in the vehicle.

Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious at the property at the time of the offence.

They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the silver Fiat being driven from the scene.
