Caravan stolen from Torquay found in Newton Abbot

A caravan stolen from Torquay earlier this month has been found in Newton Abbot.

The Eldiss Crusader caravan was stolen from Barton Road between 6pm on Monday 15 January and 9am on Tuesday 16 January.

It was located yesterday, 25th January in Ideford after information received from a member of the public helped police to locate the vehicle.

A 26-year-old man from Teignmouth was arrested on suspicion of theft and has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

PC Phil Johnson said: “It’s a relief for us as police and the owner to find the property undamaged and will eventually return to its owner.”
