A catering trailer was destroyed in a fire in Dawlish last night (30th December).
Police Community Support Officers on foot patrol noticed smoke coming from the trailer in Coryton Cove.
Fire crews from Dawlish and Teignmouth attended the incident at around 7.45pm.
Police cordoned off the area due to concerns about large gas canisters in the trailer.
The fire is believed to be a deliberate act and investigations into the cause are being carried out.
