Dawlhorse-events-132580907317215800ish shoppers will be in for a real treat tomorrow when The Mare & Foal Sanctuary charity shops re-opens on The Strand in the town centre.

The guest appearance will be by Dipsybell, a rather pretty Shetland pony!

Customers to the newly refurbished shop will  also find it a lot easier to hunt out bargains and goodies in the new open plan layout that the store boasts.

The ribbon will be cut by Dawlish Mayor Cllr John Petherick at 10.30am so get yourself along there nice and early for a warm welcome from the store manager Carol Jones.

Carol Jones said: “I have to say a big thank you not only to the customers for their patience but all of our staff and local contractors who helped to make the shop look so smart”

The funds raised through the charity shop go towards their work in rescuing and rehoming horses at their Newton Abbot and Totnes sites, and the charity are extremely grateful to all supporters and volunteers.

We wish them every success for their store opening tomorrow – and please send us your photos if you are there.
