Cockington Fayre, which was due to take place tomorrow, Wedsnesday 2nd August has been cancelled due to the weather.

Instead, a mini fayre will take place at St. Matthew’s church from 10am and 1pm

A post on Facebook stated earlier:
“On inspection of the green today, it was decided it would be far too dangerous to proceed.

“The recent heavy rains have saturated the ground and rendered it far too wet to use safely and susceptibleible to ground slippage,”

Heavy rain is predicted throughout the day tomorrow.
