Update: A vehicle and trailer are involved. Police, fire crews and ambulance at the scene. Air ambulance has also just landed. Road closed Northbound. The road could be closed for sometime.
There has been a collision on the A380, South Devon Highway between Torquay and Newton Abbot.
The accident happened at around 7.15pm with emergency services now arriving at the scene.
It is currently unknown how many vehicles are involved but it is reported by people are the scene that a vehicle has overturned.
Traffic is at a standstill towards Newton Abbot.
