COVID-19 Torbay testing facility website booking update

Following some issues on the national website over the weekend, you can now select Torbay’s mobile COVID-19 testing site as an option when booking for a test.

An error on the website meant that people wishing to be testing in Torbay had to select Plymouth as an option when booking over the weekend. This has now been resolved.

The eligibility criteria has changed from keyworkers only and now applies to if you are a keyworker, over 65, or do a job that you cannot do from home and you or anyone in your household is displaying COVID-19 symptoms.

If you are eligible for a test you can go to the mobile testing site at Lymington Road in Torquay, TQ1 4BD, but you will need to book online first at https://www.gov.uk/apply-coronavirus-test

Please note, you will need to provide photo ID to be tested.

In order for testing to take place the coach station car park is closed to cars and pedestrians and Torbay Council ask people for their understanding while the temporary facility is in place.
