A cat, smelling of petrol was found dead in a car port in Torquay last week.
The large male tabby was found on Wednesday evening, 9th October in Churchward Court, Princes Road, Ellacombe.
The local resident who found the cat contacted The Feline Cat Network who scanned the cat but unfortunately the cat was not microchipped.
The cat was then taken to Bay Vets. It is believed that the cat died from the fumes of the petrol.
The owner has still not been found. The cat had a purple collar and was not neutured.
