Update: The ambulance involved was a private ambulance and was destroyed in the fire.

There are severe delays on the A380 this evening, 18th June due to an incident involving an ambulance.

The incident is Newton Abbot bound near Kingsteignton.

It is not yet clear how many vehicles are involved but it is thought to just be one vehicle.

Fire crews are working at the scene along with other emergency services.

People at the scene have said it appears that all occupants got out safely.
