The owners of a Chihuahua taken by a seagull today, Sunday 21st July have pleaded for people to check their gardens to look for the tiny dog.
The owners say the tiny chihuahua was taken by a seagull this afternoon. The incident happened in the Stanley gardens area of Paignton.
Owner, Becca Hill said on Facebook: “Please please please anyone finds a chihuahua he’s mine a seagul has took him from my garden, bottom of marldon road Paignton,”
They have asked people in the area to check their gardens incase he has been dropped and injured.
The incident happened around lunchtime, the owners say they tried to grab the seagull but it flew off.
Gizmo the Chihuahua
As yet, there have been no sightings of the dog.
A post on Spotted Torquay’s Facebook page appealing for people to look for the dog has been shared almost 2000 times as of 5.30pm.
Local organisation UAV lost dog search and rescue are assisting the family with the search for Gizmo.
