Devon Air Ambulance Trust has received a £1,500 donation from local housebuilder, Barratt Homes Exeter as part of their Community Fund Initiative.

The charity raises funds to keep Devon’s two air ambulances in the sky, flying to deliver lifesaving treatments, whatever the circumstance, whatever the location. This year The Devon Air Ambulance are celebrating 30 years of service, having been deployed to over 31,000 missions in the past three decades. From shores to moors, they swiftly navigate any terrain to provide critical care. The combined efforts from everyone in the skies and on the ground meant that in 2021 alone Devon Air Ambulance aided over 1,000 patients and completed 844 medical missions.

Tracy Owen, Corporate Engagement Manager said: “Our business supporters are a very important part of our supporter community, and we were incredibly pleased to receive the amazing donation of £1,500 from Barratt Homes. Receiving kind and generous gifts like this, helps us to keep responding to the critically ill and injured across Devon, so we would like to say a sincere thank you to all at Barratt Homes for choosing to support Devon Air Ambulance.”

Nicki Reid, Sales Director for Barratt Homes Exeter, said: “It’s a joy to be able to support the great efforts being made by The Devon Air Ambulance Trust with this £1,500 donation. At Barratt Homes Exeter we strive to give valuable support to the communities where we build, and so are thrilled to be able to contribute towards a team that goes above and beyond to ensure the safety and wellbeing of their local community. On behalf of everyone at Barratt Developments, I want to say a huge thank you for all that you do.”
