Devon Air Ambulance Trust has received a £1,500 donation from local housebuilder, Barratt Homes Exeter as part of their Community Fund Initiative.
The charity raises funds to keep Devon’s two air ambulances in the sky, flying to deliver lifesaving treatments, whatever the circumstance, whatever the location. This year The Devon Air Ambulance are celebrating 30 years of service, having been deployed to over 31,000 missions in the past three decades. From shores to moors, they swiftly navigate any terrain to provide critical care. The combined efforts from everyone in the skies and on the ground meant that in 2021 alone Devon Air Ambulance aided over 1,000 patients and completed 844 medical missions.
Tracy Owen, Corporate Engagement Manager said: “Our business supporters are a very important part of our supporter community, and we were incredibly pleased to receive the amazing donation of £1,500 from Barratt Homes.
