Police have appealed for witnessed following a serious collision in Market Street today 18th July.

Police were called at 12.30pm on Monday 18 July following reports of a two vehicle collision on Market Street.

Police, ambulance and fire crews attended the scene.

A man has been seriously injured in the collision.

Market Street is closed at Pembrook Road and Victoria Road to allow a forensic investigation of the scene to take place.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area as the road is expected to be closed for some time.

The road remains closed.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference 356 of 18/07/16.
