Rowcroft Hospice is calling all ladies who’d like to join Barbara the Sheep on Saturday 7 July at the Rowcroft Sleep Walk to sign up by the end of March in order to take advantage of its exclusive discount code for a reduced entry fee.
We Are South Devon readers can sign up before 31 March 2018 at www.rowcroftsleepwalk.org.uk for the discounted price of £12 per adult and £8 per child using code WASD18.
This year’s ‘Fun on the Farm’-themed Sleep Walk starts and finishes at Torbay Leisure Centre, with the option to complete either a five or ten mile walk around the Bay.
All participants will be designated a starting time of either 7.30, 8, 8.30 or 9pm.
Entry is open to all ladies and little ladies over the age of eight-years-old and the registration fee covers the cost of running the event.
Once registered, Rowcroft asks that you muck in to help raise stacks of sponsorship for local people with life-limiting illnesses.
Events Manager, Stewart Molyneux, explained: “The ladies-only Sleep Walk is a great chance to get the girls together and enjoy yourselves! It’s always a fun-fuelled night, and all for a good cause!
“Last year the Sleep Walk raised a staggering, £141,000 to help fund crucial care for hundreds of patients supported by Rowcroft Hospice.
“This year we already have 500 ladies signed up to take part and we’d love to see you there too!”
2018 marks the seventh time The Rowcroft Sleep Walk has graced the Bay, and organisers are hoping the ladies who take part will raise more than ever.
Stewart added: “Over the years, The Rowcroft Sleep Walk has been immensely popular and has raised more than £1,200,000 for local families living with life-limiting illnesses.”
