A dog missing following a collision on the has been found following a collision on the A38 yesterday.

Buckfastleigh fire station posted an apppeal to the public on Facebook last night to help them locate a dog which went missing following a collision at Dean Prior, where Poppy, a poodle cross ran from the vehicle towards Rattery.

Buckfastleigh fire station posted on Facebook: “We are so happy to announce that Poppy has been found safe and well reunited with her owners, our friends at UAV LOST DOG SEARCH have been in attendance since the accident and were with the owners giving essential advice on what to do overnight when she appeared very dirty and no collar.
Thanks to everyone who shared this post and to all who looked for her. Gotta love a happy ending,”
