Brixham Police arrested a man who twice over the legal drink drive limit in the early hours of this morning (18th December).

The driver was driving the wrong way down a one way Street.

A spokesperson for Brixham Police described the incident on Facebook:

“At about 0120 hours this morning officers found themselves facing an oncoming vehicle driving the wrong way down a one-way road. 

“The vehicle came to a natural stop in front of the police car, the driver appeared in drink and officers conducted a roadside breath test.

“The 29 year old male driver provided a sample of just over twice the legal limit and was thus arrested. #Fatal4”
