People have taken to social media this afternoon, Saturday 17th February reporting to have felt tremors from an earthquake.
People across South Devon felt the earth move following earthquake which measured 4.7 on the richter scale.
The epicentre was near Swansea and tremors were felt in parts of Wales and England.
Police in Cardiff posted to Twitter: “There has been a minor earthquake throughout South Wales….no need for you to contact the Emergency Services unless you have something to report ie:- injuries or damage. Hope this sets you minds at rest SWP”
