Emergency services at scene of Torquay collision

Update: The road is now clear, the vehicles have been recovered and all lanes are open. Fire crews attended and made sure both vehicles were safe. All persons were free of vehicles.

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a two vehicle collision in Torquay.

The collision between a Peugeot and a Land Rover happened on the Newton Road/ Woodland Industrial Estate junction.

Police and fire crews remain at the scene.

One lane on Newton Road has been closed but the police.

Some delays in the area.
