Emergency services were called to a collision in Blatchcombe, Paignton this afternoon.
Police, ambulance and fire crews attended the 3 vehicle collision which involved a car towing a caravan.
A spokesperson fron Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said:
“One fire appliance from Paignton was mobilised following a call from Ambulance requesting our attendance to a 3 vehicle RTC, where a car towing a caravan had got tangled up with the other vehicles involved, but no persons were reported to be trapped.
“On arrival our crew confirmed that all persons were free and clear of the vehicles but there were 4 walking wounded, 3 of which were children.
“Whilst we set to work making the vehicles, and scene safe, the walking wounded were treated by Ambulance paramedics. Duty of care was then left with the Police,”
