English Riviera Airshow to host Torbay Council’s next Residents Engagement Event

Torbay Council is holding its next Residents Engagement Event at the English Riviera Airshow on 1 and 2 of June. Councillors and officers will be present in the Paignton Green Event Village between 10am and 4pm on both days.

The engagement event is focused on local sea defence and regeneration schemes.

People can also find out about the council’s work, how to get support with concerns, or to keep up to date with local news.

Cllr David Thomas, Leader of Torbay Council, said: “We understand that people in Paignton and Preston may have questions they’d like to ask about the exciting plans proposed for the area. Our in-person engagement events allow us to listen to our residents and provide information on future plans or respond to local concerns. These events also provide the opportunity for people to feedback local insight to improve council services.

“The airshow is a great boost to the local area. I’d encourage people to come out, enjoy the day, and have a chat with councillors and officers at the event.”

People are encouraged to visit the Torbay Council gazebo at Paignton Green Event Village to have a chat and find out more about local plans.
