Police in Brixham have warned business owners to be vigilant after reports of people attempting to use fake bank notes in the town centre this morning, 26th January.
Police have asked businesses to report any further attempts to them.
Brixham Police posted on social media: “This morning we have received several reports of attempts to pay for goods with fake bank notes in Brixham town centre. We would ask that businesses are vigilant and please report any further attempts. One of the suspects was described as a white male, aged around 18, wearing blue clothing and grey coloured Nike trainers. He was described as having brown hair,”
The police can be contacted by calling 101 in a non emergency situation.
