Family pay tribute to man who died following A30 collision

The family of a man who died who died following a collision on the A30 have paid tribute to him.

Ross Gilmore, 27 from Paignton died following the collision at Daisymount on Monday morning.

His family paid the following tribute to Ross: “Ross Gilmore who is the beloved son of Susan and Shane Kelly, a much loved sibling to Jessica Gilmore and Ryan Kelly and devoted boyfriend to Sian Davies passed from this world on Monday 21 May.

“One of the most tragic and traumatic losses life can deal out to a person is the death of their child, when it happened our entire families world changed forever.

“The family requests that their privacy is respected at this time, to grieve in private.”

One of the passengers sustained possible life-changing injuries and remains in Derriford Hospital. Three other passengers from the van were taken to hospital for treatment but have since been released.

Anyone who witnessed the single vehicle collision around 7am on Monday 21st May or who has dashcam footage that can assist with this investigation is asked to contact police on 101@dc.police.uk or call 101 quoting log 104 of Monday 19 May.
