Police appeal for witnesses following fatal collision

Police have appealed for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A379 yesterday (16th June)

The collision involved a silver Hyundai and a cyclist. The 63 year old cyclist was taken to Derriford hospital but sadly died from his injuries.

The female driver of the Hyundai was uninjured.

Officers from the Serious Collisions Investigation Team at Plymouth have commenced an investigation and are appealing for any witnesses that may have seen a cyclist travelling from Stoke Fleming towards Blackpool Sands at around 1145hrs.

If anybody has information that could assist this enquiry, please call Devon and Cornwall Police on 101, quoting log reference number 312 of 16/06/16.
