Fatboy Slim announced as first headliner for Electric Bay Festival 2025

Prepare for an unforgettable summer as the English Riviera’s Electric Bay Festival makes its highly anticipated return in July 2025.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Torre Abbey Meadows, just steps from Torquay’s golden sands, this year’s event boasts a stellar lineup, headlined by one of the music industry’s biggest names.

The English Riviera BID Company, in partnership with Louder Entertainment and Beatz n Bobz is excited to announce that the funk-soul-brother himself, Fatboy Slim will be headlining The Electric Bay Festival 2025.

Event Details

Date: Saturday 12 July – Sunday 13 July 2025

Location: Torre Abbey Meadows, Torquay, English Riviera

Time: 12:00pm until 10:30pm

Undoubtedly one of the most successful dance artists of all time, Norman Cook, better known as Fatboy Slim, is set to bring his infectious energy and huge outdoor production to Electric Bay on Saturday 12th July at the festival’s beautiful Devonshire seafront setting in Torquay.

Famous for timeless hits including ‘Praise You’, ‘Right Here, Right Now’, ‘The Rockafeller Skank’ and ‘Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat’, Fatboy Slim has dominated the global dance music scene for almost a decade and remains one of the world’s most in-demand DJs. Fatboy Slim famously attracted over quarter of a million people to Brighton Beach in 2002 and since then has become a must-see performer at major festivals around the world. His live shows are renowned for their high energy, dynamic visuals, and impeccable curation, making his Electric Bay Festival debut a standout event for next Summer’s cultural calendar.

Carolyn Custerson, CEO of English Riviera BID Company, said: “We are excited to welcome one of the biggest acts ever to perform in the English Riviera, with Fatboy Slim headlining Electric Bay this year.

“The excitement is palpable as we expect to host a crowd of 9,000 on Saturday night alone, showcasing the incredible potential of our region as a premier destination for major events. This festival is not just about great music; it’s also a significant boost for our local economy. An impact survey from the most recent festival revealed that Electric Bay generated over £1 million for the English Riviera, reinforcing its importance as a cornerstone of our summer season.”

Tickets for Fatboy Slim’s headline date will go on sale exclusively to pre-sale sign-ups at 10am on Tuesday 3rd December, with general sale beginning Wednesday 4th December.
