Fire crews called to major house fire in Brixham

Fire crews were called to a major fire at a property in Brixham last night, Saturday 2nd November.

Fire control received a number of calls to report the fire at a house in Deep Dene Close at around 9.40pm.

Fire crews from around the area attended including Brixham, Paignton and Chagford, with additional crews attending later on.

Smoke and flames could be seen from across the area.

The occupier of the property suffered from smoke inhalation and burns to their hands.

The cause of the fire is unknown and fire investigation officers are on scene investigating.
