Fire crews rescue dogs trapped 100ft down a cliff

Fire crews called to Babbacombe fire

Fire crews were called to Roundham, Paignton this morning after reports of two dogs stuck on a cliff.

One fire appliance from Paignton was mobilised to the incident just after 7am this morning, along with the Rescue Team from Camels Head, Plymouth.

A spokesperson for the fire service said:
“The incident involved two staffordshire bull terriers stuck on a cliff edge approximately 100ft down. The specialist rescue team used lines to rescue the dogs and re-unite them with their owners,”
