A major blaze at a property in Torquay has spread to neighbouring properties.
Emergency services were called to a terraced property in Shirburn road this afternoon to reports of a shed fire.
Initially, two fire appliances were mobilised to the incident, this was upped to 4 as the fire had spread to the building. This has now been upped to 12.
The fire is on-going and fire crews remain on scene.
Appliances from Torquay, Paignton, Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, Honiton, Bovey Tracey, Ashburton, Dawlish, Chagford and the welfare unit from Crediton have attended.
The area is cordoned off and the road is closed to pedestrians and traffic.
