Update: Fire confirmed as on the embankment by the railway line at Saltern Cove.
Firefighters are currently battling a fire near Paignton this afternoon, Tuesday 8 June.
The exact location is not known but it appears to be near Goodrington/Three beaches.
Locals near the scene state it appears to be a gorse fire but this has not been confirmed.
Smoke can be seen from around Torbay.
