(Last Updated On: May 20, 2018)

The fire service were called to a property in Barton, Torquay earlier today, 20th May to reports of a cat stuck under a fridge.

One fire crew from Torquay attended the incident in Swedwell Road at around 10.15am.

Fire crews released the cat by moving the heavy fridge freezer that he had become trapped beneath.

We’re glad to hear there was a Paw-sitive outcome. We hope the cat is feline ok now.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said on their website:
“One crew from Torquay attended and release the cat by manually moving the fridge”
