Emergency services were called to an RTC near Bigbury late last night.
One fire appliance from Modbury and one from Kingsbridge were mobilised to this incident at 23:44.
One person was still within the vehicle involved in the RTC.
A spokesperson for the fire service said:
“Upon arrival crews confirmed one vehicle road traffic collision with one person still within the vehicle and three walking wounded. Crews set to work to release casualty from vehicle,”
Four casualties were taken to hospital.
