Princes, princesses and fairies are invited to a fun-packed family day of fairy tale fantasy at Torquay Museum on Saturday 15th April from 10am to 4pm, to include an Easter pantomime starring talented Johnny Depp impersonator, Jonty Depp, as the Mad Hatter, with a cast including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Jack and his beanstalk and a Bad Fairy. Booking for the performances is essential as places are limited.
Little princes and princesses can then follow the Fairy Tale Trail around the Museum and win a prize. There will also be lots of fairy tale-related arts and crafts activities too, and costume characters will entertain visitors. Children are encouraged to come in fancy dress and enter a competition for the best costume.
Tickets for Torquay Museum’s Easter Fairy Tale Fun Day are £5 each, which includes entrance to the whole Museum together with a free Easter pantomime. Booking essential – telephone 01803 293975 to reserve your pantomime tickets.
Torquay Museum is also hosting a series of fun-filled Fairy Tale, Explorer and Easter-themed activity days during Easter, plus there are trails around the Museum throughout Half Term, with a prize at the end. See the Museum’s website for further details -www.torquaymuseum.org/events
