As Halloween creeps closer and the daylight hours shorten, there’s a cold chill in the air, an eerie mist descends over Torre Abbey, visitors beware!
Torre Abbey, Torbay’s oldest building, is excited to announce the return of its highly anticipated Halloween event – “The Abbey After Dark”. After its howling success last year, Torre Abbey will once again open its garden doors after hours to families seeking a spine-tingling Halloween adventure.
The Abbey After Dark experience is a scary family trail, offering a fun, spooky and creepy experience for your little monsters this half term.
Step into the haunting world of The Abbey After Dark where ghosts, ghouls, and creatures of the night lie in wait. As you walk through the gardens at nightfall, daring visitors journey into the unknown, filled with terrors, horrors, and surprises at every turn. Prepare yourself for frightening encounters with ghostly figures, interactive scares, illuminations and hair-raising special effects and projections.
Starting 25 October, Torre Abbey’s gardens will once again be transformed into a bone-chilling Halloween adventure offering an immersive experience that blends history, mystery, and horror to create an evening packed with frights and delights. Whether your little ones are experiencing their first spooky adventure or are seasoned Halloween enthusiasts, there’s something for everyone.
A creepy atmosphere awaits, with family-friendly scares and entertainment. In addition to the scares, there will be horrifyingly delicious Halloween-themed treats, frightful games, and hot drinks available too.
“Halloween – The Abbey After Dark” will run every evening from 25 October to 28 October from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Time slots are bookable every 15 minutes with only 30 tickets available per slot.

Due to the popularity of this event, early booking is highly recommended.
