Holiday flat severely damaged by fire

​Fire crews were called to Barrington Road in Torquay to reports of a fire late yesterday afternoon 11th October.

Initially 2 fire engines from Torquay and 1 from Paignton were mobilised to the fire at Muntham Holiday Apartments. Appliances from Newton Abbot, Teignmouth and Totnes also followed.

The holiday flat, measuring 20m x 30m was severely damaged by the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
