Update: It has been confirmed this was not a stabbing incident. A man and woman were arrested.
Houses in Paignton were cordoned off by police following an incident this morning, 16th September.
Police were called to Kings Ash Road to reports of a stabbing late morning, the area remained cordoned off into the afternoon.
It is reported that the area was cordoned off to preserve evidence rather than for public safety.
One person was taken to hospital.
Police are investigating.
