An elderly man was taken to hospital earlier today, Wednesday 16th May, following a collision in Paignton.
The incident was a single vehicle collision with a car colliding with traffic lights.
Police, ambulance crews and the fire service attended the incident on Esplanade Road just after midday.
Devon and Somerset fire and rescue service said on their website: “Crews used small tools and a environmental pack to make the scene safe. Crews also requested the attendance of Police and Highways due to a oil leak on the roadway.
“One elderly male was taken to hospital for precautionary checks by the Ambulance Service,”
