Investigations continue with Ellacombe Church Road in Torquay remaining closed following a fatal stabbing yesterday afternoon, Sunday 17 September.
Police remain at the scene with the road cordoned off to vehicles and pedestrians.
Emergency services were called by members of the public, just after 3.30pm, reporting that a man had been assaulted on Ellacombe Church Road. Police, ambulance crews and an air ambulance attended the scene.
The victim, a local man in his 30s, was declared deceased. His next of kin have been informed.
Two males aged 18 and 19 were arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday and placed in police custody.
