The Small Business Sunday social media campaign takes place between 5pm and 7.30pm each week with small businesses from a wide range of industries tweeting Theo as they describe and promote their business ventures. On a Monday evening six winners are chosen and retweeted by Theo to almost 490K of his Twitter followers.

Maureen McAllister, Operations Director of Jazz Hands CIC says: ‘We are absolutely overjoyed to have been chosen as an October winner. Since the announcement we have already made many new connections with other small business winners across the country who are part of the amazing #SBS community. Our business plan is built on sustainable and strategic commercial activity with a focus on community and commercial programming and this really is fantastic and such welcome, positive news. It also rewards the team’s hard work this year and shows our resilience during these very difficult times’.

Despite the challenges that have affected the theatre this year, the Jazz Hands team have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the theatre profile at the forefront of people’s minds and have continued to plan for future events, rescheduling the majority of its Spring and Summertime shows to 2021. They are now looking ahead to a brighter future to ensure that the Palace Theatre remains at the heart of the local community and as a leading creative and cultural organisation within the Torbay and South West business sector.

Becoming part of the nationwide #SBS community enables winners to share business tips and raise their business profile by making new contacts. The Jazz Hands team will join over 1000 #SBS

winners at the #SBS Annual Event in the foreseeable future with the fantastic opportunity of being presented with a certificate of achievement from Theo Paphitis.
