Jogger injured in hit and run

A teenager was left with a broken wrist after being struck by a car in a hit-and-run in Exeter.

Police are now appealing for information following the incident last month on 20th July.

The 17-year-old was out running in Bridge Road, he was struck by a car at around 3pm whilst style using the pedestrian crossing near Exeter University Boat Club.

He suffered a broken wrist and other minor injuries.

The car, described as small and green or yellow in colour, left the scene without stopping.

Police are investigating the incident and asking for the public’s help to trace the car and the driver.

Anyone who saw the collision or has information which could assist police enquiries is asked to contact 101@dc.police.uk or phone 101, quoting log 568 of 20/07/18.
