A man from Kingsteignton has died following a collision on the A38 this morning, Tuesday 27th February.
Emergency services were called to reports of a small lorry having collided with the central reservation on the Marsh Mills flyover at around 9am.
Police closed Both carriageways whilst emergency services dealt with the collision and the air ambulance landed.
A 62-year-old man Kingsteignton was taken to Derriford Hospital by land ambulance, but was later declared deceased.
His next of kin have been informed.
The road remained closed as Highways de the necessary repairs to the damaged central reservation barrier. The road was reopened at around 2:45pm.
