Learn to dance with a strictly champion

The Palace Theatre in Paignton will host Strictly Come Dancing Champion, Flavia Cacace-Mistry as part of an exciting new series of dance classes for local people in the new year.

Flavia is one of the UK’s favourite dancers, being a firm favourite from the hugely popular BBC television series, Strictly Come Dancing to wowing audiences across the UK with her sell out Vincent & Flavia theatre shows. She is now holding special ‘Dance with Flavia’ classes where she will teach the basics of Ballroom and Latin. Each class will focus on a new dance style and is a fun and interactive way of learning to dance, from one of the best dancers in the business.

Taking place in Stage Left, the Palace Theatre’s refurbished function space, there will be monthly ‘Dance with Flavia’ Beginners Classes for Ladies as well as Beginners Classes for Couples, starting on Saturday 15 January 2022. For the couples’ classes, Flavia will be joined by her husband and dance partner, actor Jimi Mistry.

Maureen McAllister, Operations Director says: “I am delighted to welcome the fabulous Flavia to the Palace Theatre as we launch our brand-new dance programme in Stage Left”.
